Unbelievable

I left work this morning at about 6:15 fully elated at the idea that I would not return until Monday morning. On the way home, I pleasanty planned out my day and how I would manage to sleep a little but still be able to sleep tonight in preps for the big race tomorrow morning in Charleston. All these hopes and plans were dashed at 7:30 when I begrudgingly answered the phone to find my boss on the other end, "We're gonna need you to work tonight." He didn't even say it with remorse. Warning to all other employees at the plant tonight: I will not be in a good mood!
